Ashley and Steve’s wedding photography Yorkshire Wedding Barn. We started off photographing the bride and her bridesmaids at her mum’s house. After capturing all the detail photos, we took pictures of the bridal preparations as the bridesmaids helped the bride to finish off getting ready. Luckily for January it was a nice day so we donned wellies and did some fun photos outside in the fields. Then it was off to the pub to catch the groom and groomsmen before they headed to St. Agatha’s Church, Gilling West for the marriage ceremony. It was a cold but sunny day so we did some great photos with the sun low in the sky as the groomsmen walked the short distance from the pub to the church. Then the bride arrived in the wedding car with her mum, bridesmaids and pageboys. We managed to photograph from inside the front of the church during the ceremony and captured some great moments between the bride and groom as they said their vows. Once they had signed the marriage register and all the formalities completed we climbed the stairs to the balcony and took a group photograph of all the wedding guests. When we had taken a few family photos the surprise of the day for the bride and groom turned up: a tractor and trailer to take the wedding party across the fields to Yorkshire Wedding Barn.
We took a few more friends and family photos on the steps at Yorkshire Wedding Barn as the sun was setting on an amazing day. Then it was time for food! After the wedding breakfast, there was the cake cutting and some joking around as Ashley held the cake knife to Steve’s throat.- we hope in jest! Once the meal had been cleared away there was dancing with a live band and then, as another surprise for the guests, fireworks to finish! Yorkshire Wedding Barn now have a tree house hot tub, so the wedding celebrations continued into the night after we left.
