Elaine and Gareth’s wedding photography East Riddlesden Hall, Keighley. We started off capturing the guests arriving before the groom and groomsmen arrived and then the bride and her eight bridesmaids. The ceremony took place in the lovely old barn attached to East Riddlesden Hall in candlelight and with fairy lights creating the romantic atmosphere. The weather on the day was a bit hit and miss, so we dodged the rain and fortunately as the bride and groom left the ceremony room, the sun came out and we managed to take most of the photos outside in the fantastic grounds of the National Trust property.
After the wedding ceremony we took some pictures in front of the lake at the front of East Riddlesden Hall, then walked around to the gardens at the back of the hall. The wedding guests sipped on champagne and tucked into canapés as we took a mixture of formal and informal photos of the bride and groom with their friends and family. Then we spent 15 minutes with the happy couple walking around the beautiful grounds to get some romantic couple photos.
East Riddlesden Hall is famous for it’s gardens and at this time of year all the plants were out so it made for some amazing photos of the bride and groom. There was even a little secret garden through and archway that we used for a few pictures of the two of them.
Then it was time for the wedding breakfast followed by the speeches. The best man’s speech was hilarious – he even ended up cutting up one of the groom’s favourite cardigans (which you can see in our slideshow below). After the cutting of the cake, the wedding guests went back outside for more drinks in the sunshine, then it was back inside for first dance.
