With all our photography packages…
FREE Wedding Airbrushing
We spend a lot of time improving and enhancing our images before we give them to our clients…Here are some examples of the sort of work you can expect to be done on your photos, all included at no extra charge as part of the package. Below are some before and after examples of our work before editing. It often takes up to 2 days to fully edit and enhance your wedding pictures so you look as good as possible. Don’t be fooled into booking a photographer that doesn’t edit your pictures. We spend more time editing your photos than actually taking them on the day! You’ll notice that on all our images the colours “pop”. We use a combination of two computer programmes – Lightroom and Photoshop to obtain the fantastic effects you see here. We turn around two thirds of our images into black and white which can really improve an image and any distractions that some colours can cause. All our clients comment that our pictures look and feel bright, cheery and highly polished. That’s due to the hours of editing, photoshopping, enhancing and improving that we carry out on each image. Wedding Airbrushing is included FREE of charge with all our packages. We want you to look your absolute best on our pictures! Have a look at our examples below to notice the subtle differences. We don’t over photoshop images but we do enhance them.

Jennifer and Alexander’s wedding photography Wentbridge House
wedding photography Wentbridge House
Jennifer and Alexander got married at Wentbridge Church and had their wedding reception at Wentbridge House, Wentbridge . We photographed the bride in the bridal suite before meeting the groomsman at the local pub for a few fun shots outside. Wentbridge House is a very historic wedding venue; the main building is Georgian and dates from 1700, this is shown on a stone set in to the wall in the rear of the Cocktail Bar. The Hotel is set in 20 acres of gardens and grounds in the village of Wentbridge, West Yorkshire. The church is just a 1 minute walk from Wentbridge House so most of the guests walked across. The bridal party had a VW camper van to transport them across and the bride and her father went in a VW Beetle which made for some great photos later on. You can see all the photos online CLICK HERE.
The bride, her bridesmaids and parents were photographed in the fantastic natural light from the large window in the bridal suite before we set off to the church to capture the guests and groomsmen. The old church is set up a bumpy track and on top of a hill so we waited for the bride to arrive before capturing the wedding ceremony from the back of the church. The rain held off long enough for a few natural photos outside the church once the registers had been signed. We also took a few of the formal photos in the doorway of the church before going back to Wentbridge House for the drinks reception and a few more photos. After a group photo of the entire wedding party from one of the windows we captured some more natural shots of the guests before the speeches began and the wedding breakfast was served. The evening do started around 730pm and we stayed to capture the first dance around 9pm. If you’re thinking of getting married at Wentbridge House we can highly recommend it as a great wedding venue! We’ve worked there on numerous occasions
Helen and Michael’s wedding photography Wrenbury Hall
wedding photography Wrenbury Hall
Helen and Michael were married at Wrenbury Hall in Wrenbury, Nantwich, Cheshire. We spent some time taking photos during the bridal preparations then caught up with the groom in the fantastic grounds of Wrenbury Hall. This fantastic wedding venue near Nantwich goes back as far as the Domesday Survey when it was known as ‘Warenberie’. In the reign of Edward III (1327 – 1377). A really historic location for a wedding! You can see all the photos online CLICK HERE
The bridesmaids were larking around in the rooms upstairs and we caught some nice natural shots of them near the windows using the natural light. Once the guests were seated, the bride and her bridal party walked down the grand staircase and posed for a photo at the bottom before going into the ceremony room. After the wedding ceremony we headed outside Wrenbury Hall and took a group photograph from a window upstairs. There was confetti thrown and then after a few family photos, we headed back into the warmth for the wedding breakfast. The wedding cake was a traditional cheescake and there was some great fairy lights up in the room which we couldn’t resist using for a few shots with the bride and groom. If you’re thinking of getting married at Wrenbury Hall we can recommend it as a great wedding venue!
Carla and Dan’s wedding photography Mercure Parkway Leeds
wedding photography Mercure Parkway Leeds
Carla and Dan’s wedding was at St. Wilfrid’s Church, Calverley and the wedding reception took place at the Mercure Parkway Hotel Leeds (used to be the Ramada Jarvis Parkway). All the groomsmen were in kilts as the groom is Scottish and there was definitely a Scottish theme to the day. After the ceremony we were lucky enough for some sunshine to come out just at the right moment so the bride and groom could have the roof down on the wedding car. We also worked quickly in the short time we had sun to capture some great photos of the bride and groom through the trees with the sunshine behind outside the Mercure Parkway Hotel. The wedding speeches had everyone in stitches as the best man had prepared a slideshow of photos from the stag do. See the slideshow of the wedding and a selection of photos from the day below.
